When the crowd goes one way, I tend to go the other. That’s because I find that people are stupid.

I learned to be critical of others from my parents. They are well-educated talented artists who were quick to criticize untalented people and very selective with their respect. So, as a young boy, I noticed all of their flaws and turned it around on them. I knew at the age of around 12 that I was brilliant and they were retarded. I also knew that it wasn’t just them.

Creating an overconfident little monster was not my parents’ intention. But I did learn to do my own thing rather than follow crowds and lo and behold it turned out mostly true – people are pretty dumb, aren’t they.

Growing up, the media presented an elevated version of what the dumb crowd was all about. They hid all the most ridiculous people. Today’s social media hides nothing. Every psycho has a voice. But even back then, the media was never interested in truth telling. They’ve always promoted chaos. A lunatic president – great! A race war – great! Fear and anger are what get attention and attract this crowd. A white police officer kills a defenseless black man – what a great “black and white” narrative for the media’s largest audiences.

Meanwhile, forget about all the awful outrageous things that happen to people of all races everywhere all the fucking time, from police brutality to foreign invasions and interventions, to who we all simultaneously choose not to have sex with. Discrimination is happening all around us in an infinite amount of ways. Primary among those examples is not black people versus white people discrimination.

The world today is not driven and organized primarily by race. It isn’t driven and organized by religion or political party.

The world is primarily organized and driven by two things:

First, and most obvious:

MONEY

When I drove a piece of shit old Toyota Tercel I bought for one thousand dollars, I drove it so fast I busted the engine a couple times. I was pulled over and ticketed several times and treated like a terrorist (I kind of looked like a terrorist). I developed a hate for cops and this attitude didn’t help with these situations. But when I first made enough money in the stock market to sustain myself, I bought a beautiful dark green Corvette that seemed to have a magical power. I was pulled over and given “warnings” despite my fast driving! It was like the shiny glare of the vehicle somehow entered into the cop’s unconscious, “you will respect me.” I also upgraded my bitter attitude and was clearly treated differently in several situations. How ironic – having more money made it less likely that I would get ticketed!

Rich people of all races are generally not having problems with police and authorities. It’s poor people that police and authorities – and our overall culture – do not respect. It’s poor people that are being abused and neglected by everybody.

But more important, the world is primarily organized and driven by a second even more important feature:

BEAUTY

Discrimination today is more about ugly versus pretty than anything else. That’s because aside from being healthy and surviving this existence – which money helps serve – what we really live for is sex and relationships. And since we’re perhaps the most terrible species this planet has ever known, we ALL think it’s perfectly acceptable to discriminate on the basis of appearance when it comes to sex and relationships. Maybe that’s the root of all evil, but so be it. I will not fuck people that look like *insert description here*.

Black Lives Matter? Nice. Trendy. Try an Ugly Lives Matter movement and see where that gets you.

Yes, racist people are out there and social media gives them a voice like no other time in history. But it just doesn’t compare to the perfectly acceptable discrimination against people who are considered unattractive. And this crosses all racial divisions. Beautiful black people are not having the same life experience as unattractive black people – not even close. That’s where the harshest discrimination line is drawn – and it cuts without mercy into all races. For attractive black men and women (as for all races), doors open, the red carpet is laid out, people fall over themselves trying to please.

The war on white racism against blacks by the media in the United States is shallow. The media actually encourages white and black conflict by overreporting it and underreporting all the other brutalities that happen because keeping the narrative simple and emotionally charged for their dumb audiences makes them MONEY. They ignore what happens to other minorities who may as well not exist – which leads to more prejudice and discrimination, and more foreign wars with MILLIONS dying because that, also… makes them MONEY. They are businesspeople. Everything they do is about the bottom line and has nothing to do with telling the truth.

The core of discrimination and prejudice begins and continues with the love of attractive people and the disliking of unattractive people. It’s about paying attention to interesting looking people and ignoring boring looking people. It’s about fearing large people and walking all over small people. In ‘short’, people of all races are just assholes and if we don’t care to address these deeper issues that go beyond the black-and-white narratives, none of it will stop. Not unless we as a society and culture suddenly produce a world of educated thoughtful critical thinkers willing to confront our own deepest biases.

Yeah right.

Our perverse beauty-obsessed money-grubbing world is just pretending to hate discrimination in its rare extreme forms. The deeper discrimination and prejudices are unspoken and perfectly acceptable. Black Lives Matter – especially when rich or attractive.
